 أنا مها سليم من غزة، عمري 30 سنة

خريجة فنى سمعيات، وأحب كثيرًا العمل مع الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة.

حاليًا أنا طالبة جامعية في السنة الثالثة، أدرس تخصص الخدمة الاجتماعية، وأحلم بأن أكمل تعليمي رغم كل الصعوبات.

قبل الحرب، كنت أعمل مع وزارة الأوقاف في تعليم القرآن الكريم للأطفال والنساء، وتعليم القاعدة النورانية واللغة العربية. كما كنت أزرع الأمل كل يوم رغم الظروف الصعبة.

كما عملتُ محفظة للقرآن الكريم في مراكز التحفيظ في مخيم البريج، بالإضافة إلى عملي التطوعي في مجال العمل الخيري، وخاصة مع الأطفال، لا سيما ذوي الإعاقة

My name is Maha Salim, I’m 30 years old and from Gaza.

I hold a diploma in Audiology and I have a deep passion for working with children with disabilities.

Currently, I am a third-year university student majoring in Social Work, and I dream of continuing my education despite all the challenges.

Before the war, I worked with the Ministry of Awqaf, teaching Qur’an to children and women, as well as teaching the Noorani Qaida and Arabic language. Every day, I did my best to plant hope despite the difficult circumstances.

I also served as a Qur’an teacher in memorization centers in Al-Bureij Camp, in addition to my volunteer work in charitable activities—especially those involving children, particularly children with disabilities.

من بداية الحرب، كل شي انهار. خسرت شغلي، انقطع الإنترنت، وما عاد عندي كهربا بشكل منتظم. صرت أعيش بأقل الإمكانيات، حتى دراستي الجامعية واقفة وما بعرف إذا حقدر أكملها.
أنا المعيلة الوحيدة لأسرتي، وكل يوم بصحى بقول: يا رب تفرجها، نفسي أرجع أدرس، أشتغل، أساعد، وأسافر بيوم أعيش فيه بسلام.

Since the war started, everything collapsed.
I lost my job, the internet was cut off, and I barely have electricity. I’m living with the bare minimum, and my university studies are on hold—I don’t know if I’ll ever get to finish them.
I’m the sole provider for my family, and every morning I pray that this nightmare ends. I dream of returning to my studies, working again, helping others—and one day, traveling and living in peace.
